Cambodia

My visit to Cambodia I found was good for the soul.

I spent a week in Siem Reap visiting the Angkor Wat temples which was such a spiritual place. We travelled around via tuk tuk and walked in awe around these historic places of worship that are still used today. My favourite temple by far was Banteay Srei which took so long to get there but was so worth the drive. The carvings in each piece of stone tell a story and had my brain racing with all different possibilities of the meanings.

The locals in Cambodia were the happiest and smiliest people I came across on my travels. They were always happy to help out and tell you their stories, we still talk with one Cambobian to this day who sends us videos of day to day life over there which always brings a smile to our faces. Life over there is not materialistic, it doesn’t matter how you look, what matters is how you feel.

I hope to go back there one day soon.
